There are lectins in most grains (like gluten) that can irritate and and permeate the gut lining and lead to inflammation in the gut and other parts of the body-- That's the main reason I don't eat grains. I'm trying to heal my gut!

When I'm really craving nut butters, I usually have them on an apple or a banana! I do sometimes miss toast with PB and honey and if I wanted it enough, I would eat it.

For further reading, check out Whole9's Grain Manifesto: http://whole9life.com/2010/03/the-grain-manifesto/AllieNichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04309499566470252746noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7141335287202110225.post-63143432323176312582010-08-17T12:56:19.401-04:002010-08-17T12:56:19.401-04:00Very interesting post! Meyer Lemons are like love. Sometimes hard to find, but well worth the wait.

Where I live we don't have easy access to fresh Meyer lemons. But I've figured out a solution. What I do is just go online (http://www.buy-meyer-lemon.com/ ) and order directly from growers that pick them right off the trees and ship them direct — a tip I learned from my cousin in Canada. This way I get fresh Meyer lemons picked from the tree without all the time sitting in cartons, trucks and warehouses on their way to market where they lose their freshness.
Janet Hume
Moundville, Wisconsinhow much does laser eye surgery costhttp://www.laser-eye-price.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7141335287202110225.post-44595843538891759262010-07-27T10:14:58.825-04:002010-07-27T10:14:58.825-04:00this is sickening - thanks for sharing!this is sickening - thanks for sharing!shannon (the daily balance)http://www.thedailybalance.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7141335287202110225.post-87948289116621933402010-06-24T20:16:12.896-04:002010-06-24T20:16:12.896-04:00Yes.
